--Northshore Jazz hires the finest musicians on the Northshore and we can furnish this information at your request.

What is your address?

--My name is Rich Schwartz and you can call me at 985-624-7177.

How many years of professional experience do you have?

--I have over 15 years of professional experience and have performed with musical legends Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Linda Ronstadt.

What percentage of your business is dedicated to weddings?

--About 75% of our business is dedicated to weddings. 

Are you the person who will perform at my event?

--Personally, I am a saxophonist.  If you would like a saxophonist for your event, then I probably will perform at your event.  Whether or not I am performing at your event, it is my job to make sure the music on your special day is perfect.

What type of music do you specialize in?

--Nothshore Jazz specializes in classical and jazz music.

What are your hourly fees? Soloist? Duet? Trio? Quartet?

--We can provide this information over the phone.  Simply call 985-624-7177. 

How would you dress for my event?

--We would normally ask you how we should dress.  Depending on the formality of the event, we normally dress in either tuxedos or all black.

Do you have liabilty insurance?

--All members of the American Federations of Musicians carry liability insurance.

Do you have a cordless microphone?

--Northshore Jazz provides a cordless microphone for an additional fee.

What is your payment cancellation policy?

--Our payment cancellation policy is printed on the back of our contracts.  We ask that payment in full is provided 30 days before the event.  If the event is cancelled under 30 days, a portion of the payment is refunded.  This portion is dictated by how many days from the event the cancellation is made. 

Can you act as master of ceremonies?

--Yes, we can as act master of ceremonies for the additional fee of a cordless microphone.

How many breaks do you take?  How long are they?

--According to regulations set by the American Federation of Musicians, we take a ten-minute break for every 50 minutes of perfoming.  An event schedule can be arranged, but must be documented in the contract.
